The AVProEdge Cloud 9 is a robust HDMI distribution switch that is perfect for projects where control and limitless expandability are important. With AIMS (Active Instant Matrix Switching) and a fully customizable quadviewer, the Cloud 9 is the right choice for a variety of A/V installations.
In certain situations such as a commercial environment it is not always feasible to install lengthy HDMI cables. This can be time consuming, expensive, and introduce signal problems. In a lot of cases the system will already have a Category cable infrastructure. This is no problem for the Cloud 9! Simply add either of AVProEdge’s extenders and the installation will be a breeze!
The AC-EX150VW-C9R can extend an uncompressed 1080p video signal up to 150 meters over a single CAT-5e/6a/7 UTP/STP. In addition, the The AC-EX150VW-C9R will allow you to build a custom video wall layout up to 3x3. Adding one to each of the displays in the video wall will give you ultimate flexibility on your project. Installation is simple! The AC-EX150VW-C9R is powered via POE, so no worries about where to plug it in for power. Only 2 connections need to be made; the Category cable as an input and a short HDMI cable from the output to the display.
