Bullet Train Cables: We focus on the professional integrator, providing stable solutions, and pushing technology.

Bullet Train HDMI Cables are the lifeline of 8k and 10k audio video distribution. Based on the HDMI testing technology of Murideo, Bullet Train has a full line of cables that can handle the full HDMI 2.1 specification, including 4K at 120fps, 8k, and 10k. As a professional audio-video integrator, installing these cables ensures your signal management is solid for years to come. Bullet Train HDMI cables are already the go-to cable for many installers that need to pass 4k, but this active optical HDMI cable provides even higher support for video signals that push technology into the future.

Bullet Train is manufacturing this 8k cable right now. This cable will work with every 8k or 10k television, monitor or projector on the market with Samsung, Sony, and LG, all having 8k models available. We can process Audio Video signals for all consumer video sources, including the gaming consoles that are being launched in November 2020 from Microsoft and Sony. When you use Bullet Train cables, you know you will have a stable solution built to last.

Bullet Train AOC 8K can handle the full HDMI 2.1 specification, here we break down the advanced features:

Picture
What is 8k?
8K resolution refers to an image or display resolution with a width of approximately 8000 pixels. 8K UHD is the highest resolution defined in the Rec. 2020 standard. 8K display resolution is the successor to 4K resolution.

What is FLR?
FRL stands for Fixed Rate Link, and it's a signaling technology supported in the HDMI 2.1 Specification. FRL is necessary to achieve higher uncompressed resolutions such as those above 4k60, as well as the ultra-high-speed bandwidths up to 48Gbps. It's also required for compressed video transport, which enables operation at lower data rates, for example, 4k60 and ultra-high pixel rate video such as 10Kp120.

What is 120Fps?
120 Frames Per Second describes how many images are on screen in a single second to create the moving image. Also called the refresh rate and is measured in Hz by manufacturers. Before this update, 60 frames per second was the max. This will double that and will be great for fast action and fast-moving images.

What is 10k?
10K resolution is any of a number of horizontal display resolutions of around ten-thousand pixels, usually double that of 5K resolutions: 9,600 or 10,240 pixels. Unlike 4K, 8K, and 16K, it is not part of UHDTV broadcast standards. But these cables will support 10k signals up to 48Gbps.

Picture
Ready for the next step in gaming?
Microsoft and Sony have not released a console since 2013, this holiday season that all changes. The PlayStation 5 and the XBOX Series X are launching and will change the face of gaming with 8k capabilities. Make sure you're prepared with Bullet Train 8K AOC HDMI cables.

We are shipping today in the sizes of 5, 10, 15, and 20 meters. You can purchase Bullet Train through any of these distributors: www.bullettraincables.com/where-to-buy!

4K Video Distribution - Why Bandwidth Matters, and How to Prepare for the Future

6/30/2020

Picture
Definition: Bandwidth is the maximum rate of data transfer across a given path.

Ok, We know what bandwidth is, but how can it affect the custom integrators?

Many video distribution systems have bandwidth limitations of 10.2 Gbps or less. When using modern 4k devices, this will cause major havoc to your system—creating the need for truck rolls back to the site, changing out products, and an overwhelmingly large amount of wasted time. Now what's going to happen when the next step comes, 8K, 10K, and beyond?  How are installers going to pass these high bandwidth signals that could potentially exceed 100Gbps?

The answer is Fiber Optics.

The optical signal does not get altered because of electromagnetic interference. It can send a signal over miles and miles, which makes it clear, fiber the future of audio/video distribution. Installing fiber optics in your systems ensures your ability to upgrade the system down the road with very little work. Giving you future business, keeping your customers happy, and their costs down. Before we get into how to use fiber for HDMI signal distribution, let's look at some bandwidth numbers to show how important it is to have a system that meets today's requirements.

You can see that bandwidth is increasing very rapidly and won't stop anytime soon. AVPro Edge has the solution.

By converting any HDMI signal into a fiber optic signal, you can deliver the signal anywhere you please with much less distance and bandwidth restrictions. AVPro Edge offers two different fiber optic extension products that convert the HDMI signal to fiber and back to HDMI. You can use these kits in any video installation, including home theater, whole-home AV, restaurants, corporate environments, schools, universities, digital signage, or any other video distribution path.

In The Community: Local Softball Sponsorship

6/29/2020

Picture
Summer time in South Dakota, where AVPro is headquartered, means softball season! While pushing technology to the edge is our day job, nothing beats a summer night at the softball diamonds. That's why when our own Jared Kantack asked us to sponsor his league softball team we jumped at the chance to support a local team.

This sponsorship helps the team with uniforms and fees and the team in turn gives back to the community by volunteering their time at organizations like the Banquet who serves meals to the food insecure here in Sioux Falls.

We wish the team good luck in their season this year!

  5. Presenter’s location (standing, sitting, mobility)
  6. Display size and viewing distance
  7. Display type (based on size and room conditions)
  8. BYOD considerations

18GBPS HDMI EXTENSION USING "ICT"

Picture
Category cable's bandwidth is maxed out at 10.2 Gbps, so how do we pass 18Gbps? The answer is "ICT" or Invisible Compression Technology.

ICT is a proprietary compression algorithm we developed by the AVPro team to bypass banding and artifacts you normally get from compressing a video signal. AVPro Edge's sister company Murideo is a display calibration company, so we used the technology we developed in display calibration to ensure you are delivering the most optimized picture you can with any of the "444" HDMI extenders. Depending on the installation, you are sure to find the features you need. Ethernet, power, audio, video, control and USB can all be extended at the same time (USB on the 100 and 40 Plus only). We achieve this using our ICT along side the HDBaseT standard to deliver you the best solution for high bandwidth signals over category cable. Check out the examples below, one without ICT, one with. Pay attention to the artifacts and banding in the example without ICT.

The 444 products also expand into our HDBaseT matrix switchers. Each HDBaseT matrix from AVPro Edge has a "444 Premium" transmitter built in, when you pair that with our "444 RNE" receiver you have full point to point solution for multi-zoned video distribution.

Each year at InfoComm, AVPro Edge looks forward to integrators walking through our physical booth and getting hands-on with our latest solutions. Since we can’t get together this year we are creating a full three days of daily, live demonstrations that we will host via YouTube, Facebook, Instagram and our website.

Join us June 16th, 17th, and 18th as we come in live from our R&D space in Sioux Falls South Dakota. In order to join the fun, you need to be following us on our social media accounts, you can find them here:

AVPro Edge Live Demos during InfoComm 2020 Virtual Event:

Picture
Our cameras are set up, our mics are connected, we are ready to go live, and answer all the questions you have on anything AVPro. Here is a little taste of what we will be showing June 16-18, 2020.

ConferX Wall Plate HDBaseT Transmitters
These single gang wall plate transmitters are the perfect connection point for and HDMI, VGA, DisplayPort or USB-C audio video signals. These transmitters can distribute the signal over standard category cable up to 100 meters. You can then take that signal and share it with everyone in the room through whatever local projectors or displays you have connected to your system.

Fresco Cap 4 (Plus Teaser of the Fresco Cap 9) - Video Wall Processing Made Easy
Building a video wall has never been easier, with Fresco video wall processors you can connect any HDMI source to the unit and it will automatically produce a 2x2 plug and play video wall. With Fresco video walls you can use any monitor or display on the market, no need to use high end commercial panels when there isn’t enough room in the budget.

KVM extension with PTZ camera - 40 Plus
HD and 4K security cameras with Pan, Tilt, Zoom capabilities are becoming common place in many installations. How do you control the camera and still deliver high quality video? The answer is the AC-EX40-444-PLUS. This balun can send 4K video from the camera to the control monitor and commands from the control monitor to the camera at the same time on a single CAT 6 twisted pair.

Fox & Hound HDMI Testing
You have connected your entire audio/video distribution system, you power on the source and the displays, and………you get no picture. What do you do next? How do you find the problem? You have to recheck 100 connection points and cables, make sure there isn’t a problem with some piece of hardware, this can take a lot of time. With Fox & Hound from Murideo you no longer need to waste countless hours looking for the problem and hoping you come across it. The Fox & Hound allows you to test HDMI runs and find the problem areas quick, allowing you to move on to the next job, and the next pay day.

Headroom in Video Distribution & Matrix Switchers - Installing for the future
AVPro Edge’s engineers started developing HDMI testing equipment before we ever made distribution equipment. Because we test at the maximum specs of HDMI 2.0, our distribution products meet that same spec. This allows you to be fully ready for full bandwidth 4K, something being adopted at a fast rate around the world. During this demo we will look at our matrix switchers and how we design with the integrator in mind, building pieces that can stand the test of time.

AVPro and InfoComm are excited to host an unconventional type of convention. Thanks for joining.

The Fresco 4 is a video wall processor able to handle 18Gbps 4K60 (4:4:4) through its 1 HDMI input and 4 HDMI outputs. Plug-and-play for a 4-panel video wall, or cascade multiple units for larger set ups.

The steps below outline how to connect and control the Fresco CAP 4 via the free PC software.

Picture
Delivering end-to-end solutions for conference rooms, classrooms and huddle spaces, ConferX is the perfect way to leave your next installation running stable and looking sleek. The AC-CX62-AUHD is one of ConferX's most powerful and popular conference room matrix switches. With unique features, this product solves problems for integrators by offering auto-sensing and auto-switching inputs, independent outputs to show two sources at the same time, and more.

The ConferX 6x2 Matrix Switcher is the ideal solution for any conference room, classroom or huddle space. This 4K switcher can display any of the six sources through both the HDBaseT and HDMI output port. Each of these outputs are completely independent of each other allowing the user to show two sources at the same time. With additional audio inputs and outputs, working with a microphone or intercom system will not be a problem.

Picture
“I’ve been in hundreds of conference rooms and classrooms in my life, nothing halts a meeting quicker than having issues with the equipment in the room and in turn, getting the presentation on screen. With ConferX solutions, integrators can set up the room with confidence knowing the end user won’t have a problem sharing with their brand new laptop or tablet and each meeting/class will run smoothly.” - AVPro President Jeff Murray

Picture
With two HDBaseT inputs the 6x2 works alongside two ConferX Wall Plate Transmitters at the same time. You can have Mini DisplayPort, HDMI, VGA or USB-C inputs located up to 100 meters away from the AC-CX62-AUHD. This allows a teacher or presenter to use their laptop directly at the podium or presenters’ station without having to connect anything to the matrix switcher.

The AC-CX62-AUHD gives any end user a simplified experience for sharing their ideas inside a classroom, conference room or huddle space.
