![]() AVPro Global Holdings is headquartered in Sioux Falls, SD. We are proud to serve as members of our community and are always looking to support in any way we can. Today we will highlight one of the organizations we love, the Sioux Empire Pit Rescue (SEPR). This organization is a bully breed rescue in Sioux Falls, SD. They work diligently to rescue, foster, and find forever homes for dogs across the area. They have brought over 500 dogs into their foster system since 2009. AVPro is proud to support this organization and their annual Corks and Collars event. We look forward to the event every year which includes a silent auction and a chance to meet and greet with some of the furry fosters! Heather Casper-McLay, coordinator for the Corks and Collars event stated, "SEPR has been active for over 10 years now in the Sioux Falls area. Each year we rescue between 40-50 dogs and place them in to foster homes until they find their fur-ever families! We also do community education and outreach projects such as providing assistance for spay and neuter to dog owners who might not be able to afford those procedures. We are a completely volunteer-run organization, so fundraising is extremely important to the success of our organization. The Corks & Collars gala is our biggest fundraiser and helps to cover our annual expenses which can run close to $100,000 per year. The gala hosts both a silent and live auction and there are wine glasses and grab bags for sale, as well as a wine-pull. The night features delicious food and a wonderful band as well. Because the event was postponed until August, we are hosting a raffle for 4 tickets to Journey in June along with a $25 gift card to Severance Brewing. We will be selling 40 raffle tickets at $20 apiece. People can go to our website to purchase a raffle ticket for a really fun summer night!" Corks and Collars 2020 will take place on August 28.
