4K Ultra-High Definition – The AC-CX-84 supports 4K/60 (4:4:4) 18 Gbps signals using AVPro Edge’s exclusive Invisible Compression Technology algorithm. Modern offices are taking advantage of the latest display technologies. As PCs default to 4K resolution, video infrastructures must be equipped to handle these commonplace high resolutions.
Instant Switching – Source switching is now transparently instant, with transitions between sources visually undetectable.
Additional Scaling Capabilities – Scaling upgrades include 720p plus office-oriented display resolutions of 1920x1200 (WUXGA), 2560x1080p (21:9 WFHD), and 3840x1080p (32:9 DFHD). Automatic EDID detection enhances compatibility and eliminates guesswork.
Aspect Ratio Conversion – The AC-CX-84 can warp an image to fit wider-dimensioned monitors and DVLED video walls. Incoming aspect ratios can also be equally matched in output or letterboxed/pillarboxed to fill.
HDBaseT bidirectional RS-232 – HDBaseT I/Os are updated to support bidirectional RS-232 data transmission in Base64 or raw ASCII/HEX. A Local Diagnostics GUI window displays baud rate, RS-232 mode type, and data information.
5-volt Toggle – High/Low toggle that manufactures an emulated Hot Plug Detect event for disconnection from codecs, enabling worry-free source switching with conferencing devices.
HDMI Stream Control - Stream Control disables scaling when no active video is present at a source output.
Mirror Mode - Mirrors the source output of adjacent HDBaseT and HDMI outputs for a same-source display via the two technology types.
HDBaseT Interoperability – The AC-CX-84 may be used with all standard HDBaseT equipment.
External HDBaseT Device Power – The AC-CX-84 can power connected HDBaseT transmitters and receivers, eliminating separate device power PSUs. Powerable devices include:
